Ronix Beginner / Intermediate 17-28″ Balance Series Foil Setup

The 17-28″ Balance Series is built to carry you from your first flights all the way into advanced riding — a truly complete, progression-ready foil setup. Its standout feature is the patent-pending Shift mast that adjusts through four heights, allowing you to grow your skills without ever outgrowing your system.

System Components

  • Balance front wing — 1300 cm²
  • Balance rear stabilizer — 240 cm²
  • Shift mast adjustable from 17″ to 28″ (four settings)
  • 28″ Fluid mast included for jump to advanced riding
  • Link 3D fuselage — 39 cm
  • Vertical Stabilizer — 26 cm² (slide-on, removable)
  • 727 Tuff Tech foil board — available in 3’8″, 4’1″, 4’8″
  • Everything included: hardware, foil sleeves, straps, tools, gear bag, etc.

What Makes It Unique

Because the Shift mast can contract or extend through four different heights (17″ / 20″ / 23″ / 26″), it guides you through an educational progression path. You can master deep-water starts at low height, then step up as you gain confidence — without needing a new mast.

Once you’re ready to push hard, attach the 28″ Fluid mast to unlock higher flights, longer transfers, and more advanced tricks — all using the same complete setup. The vertical stabilizer adds pitch stability during learning and can be removed later to fine-tune your balance and agility.

Key Benefits

  • Scalable to Your Skill: The adjustable mast ensures your setup evolves with you — no need to replace your entire kit.
  • Stability When You Need It: The Balance wing and included stabilizer help smooth out your takeoffs, transitions, and flights, making early foiling more consistent.
  • Longevity Built In: Skip the short-term setups. This kit covers your progression from beginner all the way into advanced riding.
  • Additional Mastery Tools: Slide off the stabilizer, attach the longer mast, and take control of advanced maneuvers as you mature your technique.

Technology & Construction Highlights

  • Autoclave Carbon / Spread-Tow Construction: High-end wing and fuselage layups deliver stiffness, lightweight strength, and precise response.
  • Balance Wing Design: Optimized with elliptical outlines and chord tapering for strong lift, graceful edge transitions, and controlled behavior.
  • Link 3D Fuselage: CNC-machined 39 cm link that ensures rigidity and efficient energy flow between mast, wing, and stabilizer.
  • Vertical Stabilizer (26 cm²): A patent-pending device that improves deep-water starts and flight control but can slide off when you want a freer ride.
  • 727 Tuff Tech Foil Board: Stable shape with durable construction, foil-specific rocker and bevels, and included straps and inserts to support learning and aerial progression.

Ronix 727 Tuff Tech Foil Board

After five years of refinement, the 727 returns with a centered, stable riding position built for confidence and resilience. The Tuff Tech construction wraps a thin-profile core in a tough Surface Skin shell so it can handle the knocks and dings that come with real use.

This board is designed to be forgiving yet performance-ready — a neutral, controllable ride style that suits entry-level and intermediate foilers. You’ll find yourself consistently in control, even during aggressive maneuvers or fast landings. With straps included for deep-water starts, this board sets a foundation for progressing aerials and pumping technique.

Features

  • Available in 3′8″, 4′1″, or 4′8″ lengths
  • 10″ foil track with standard 3.5″ spacing between tracks
  • Foil-specific geometry — rocker, bevels, and weight tailored for flight landings
  • Tuff Tech construction — classic Koal core wrapped in rugged Surface Skin for durability
  • Blended EVA traction pad — foam and rubber mix with machined grooves for comfort + grip
  • Includes adjustable foot straps for easier deep-water starts and air work
  • Three stance options for both front and rear feet
  • Precision-machined cores — every board produced by robot to exact tolerances
  • Lava Resin — high-temp resin that holds up under stress and heat
